Do I need to bring any equipment?
No. Our workouts non-contact. We’re focused on developing youth athletes from a fundamental and technical standpoint. You will only need to bring football cleats for the on-field sessions. Quarterbacks are advised to bring their own footballs.
What if I play multiple positions?
Our academy is setup to enable you to train at multiple positions. Our youth are required to learn the fundamentals on both sides of the ball. However, if you are in the upper level training groups and would like to train for multiple positions, we can certainly accommodate that.
Is strength training included?
The strength & conditioning aspect is an important component to our academy model. Depending on the camp level you select (Playmaker, Iron-Man, Game Changer, Phenom), you will get varying levels of Performance training, including strength, speed, mental, nutrition and other elements.
What about competition?
Our founder, Sean White, is convinced that an atmosphere that constantly emphasizes relentless competition is a key to success. While the emphasis of our camp will be personalized, position-specific training, we do include opportunities for the campers to compete against one another in 1-on-1 drills, and when numbers permit, 7-on-7 games.
Is 1-on-1 training an option?
Yes. Private lessons and small-group training is customized and offers the ultimate training experience.
How much does it cost?
Academy tuition varies depending on commitment level and which membership you choose! We offer “pay upfront” and monthly options. We offer no-contract and contract options based on what works best for your situation. Please contact us to decide which membership is right for you!
How many people attend?
The number of athletes varies by time of year. We will not accept over 8 players per position for each ability level. Whenever you come, you will always receive small-group training from expert coaches with ultra-personalized instruction available through our optional Football Academy. Please contact us for more detail based on when you are considering attending.
What forms do I need to complete prior to attending?
Contact us via website or email and we will point you in the direction to starting the program.
How many times can my youth/athlete train per week and what is optimal?
The amount of training per week depends on the specific membership. Some programs are unlimited, while others are specific to a number of days per week. The optimal amount of training per week again depends on the program, but in general 2 – 3 days per week is average.
Which membership is best for my athlete?
The best membership for your athlete depends on the his goals. The only way to determine the best fit is to contact us and book a Success Session. During that time, our staff will discuss the results of the evaluation, along with goals and recommend the most appropriate program for your athlete.
When will I see results?
Results depend on the effort the parent/athlete puts into the program. Most athletes who come 2 – 3 times per week and are engaged in the sessions will feel and see results after only several weeks. If you ever question your youth/athlete’s progress, our staff will be happy to conduct an updated evaluation.
How is the Phenom Phactory different?
Our founder, Sean White, has been training athletes for over 14-years and has put together the best staff in Colorado at any level. The current staff has over 65 years of high school, 45 years of NCAA, and 8 years of NFL coaching experience. His methodologies and programming were built for long-term development. He does not believe in teaching a kid algebra before elementary math nor running before crawling. He is a “skills over drills” coach and is not into doing things that just look cool and prefers doing things that will translate to the playing surface. After watching and/or training many of the sports best players, he’s learned that “The best never get bored with the basics.” Additionally, Phenom Phactory coaches are certified to coach youth, which is a different set of skills than random sports training.
